This privacy policy reflects our practices as of the date above. We will update it as practices change, and a Canadian lawyer reviews substantive revisions. Questions, requests, or complaints about how we handle your information are always welcome at privacy@sudharitech.com.

Sudhari Technologies Inc. ("Sudhari Tech," "we," "us," "our") is a Canadian federal corporation headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. We publish this website at sudharitech.com and develop software products including KeraPlan.

2. What we collect

Information you provide directly

• Registration information: name, email, and optional company name and role, when you register for a free KeraPlan license or contact us.
• Support correspondence: content of emails you send us for support, feedback, or general inquiries.
• Donations: if you make a voluntary donation through PayPal, it collects and processes your payment information. We never see your payment card or banking details. We receive only the information the platform chooses to share with us (typically: donor name or alias, donation amount, optional message).

Information collected automatically

• License activation pings: KeraPlan performs an online license check approximately once every 30 days. This transmits only your license key and an anonymized machine identifier. No project data, file contents, or schedule information is transmitted. The interval and contents of this check are the same in our End-User License Agreement (Section 9.4 of the Terms).

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect, upload, sync, or otherwise access the project files you create or edit in KeraPlan. Your schedules stay on your machine.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How we use your information

• To deliver the free license keys you've requested through registration.
• To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
• To send you essential service communications (license keys, critical updates, security notices).
• To send occasional product updates and newsletters — only if you've opted in, and with an unsubscribe link in every message.
• To acknowledge voluntary donations, where the donor has chosen to share their email with us.
• To improve our products and website based on aggregated usage patterns.
• To comply with legal obligations under Canadian and applicable foreign law.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable (e.g., GDPR), our legal bases for processing your personal information include: contract performance (delivering the free license you've registered for, and supporting that license), legitimate interests (improving our products, preventing abuse), legal obligation (recordkeeping where required by law), and consent (marketing emails, optional analytics).

5. How we share information

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate, and only to the extent necessary:

• CanSpace Solutions Inc. — our web hosting provider.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (license-key delivery and account verification).
• PayPal — third-party donation platform. If you make a voluntary donation, the platform processes your payment under its own terms and may share limited information with us (typically: donor name or alias, donation amount).
• Legal authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties for any purpose.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process your data outside Canada. Where this occurs, we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards, and we rely on standard contractual clauses where required by applicable law.

7. Your rights

Under PIPEDA (Canada) and, where applicable, GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have rights regarding your personal information:

• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal and contractual retention obligations)
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your local data protection authority

8. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to support your KeraPlan license, comply with our legal obligations (e.g., tax records and donation acknowledgement records for 7 years in Canada), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 7), subject to the retention obligations above.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your license key.

10. Children

Our products and services are intended for business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.

11. Cookies

This website uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party social-media cookies. The only cookies set are functional ones strictly necessary for the site to operate (for example, session cookies during the registration flow). You do not need to accept a cookie banner because we do not deploy the kind of cookies that legally require one.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and we'll notify registered customers by email where appropriate.
