Built by engineers who've worked on real construction projects. Focused on tools that behave the way professional software should — precise, predictable, yours to keep.
The idea for KeraPlan came from a simple observation: the construction scheduling software market has a hole in the middle. Primavera P6 is powerful but overkill for most commercial and civil projects, and its licensing model is increasingly hostile to the subcontractors and consultants who actually need to read its files. MS Project is not really construction-focused. And a surprising number of project controls professionals still end up using Excel — which can show bars on a timeline but can't compute float, detect logic loops, or defend a claim in arbitration.
KeraPlan is the tool we wished existed: a focused Windows application that does CPM, PERT, Monte Carlo, WBS, and EVM at professional quality, reads P6 XER files natively, and is free for anyone who needs it. Built by someone who's used every major scheduling tool on real projects and has strong opinions about which ergonomic choices matter.
KeraPlan is free, fully featured, for everyone. No subscription tier. No premium features locked behind a paywall. No "free for personal use, paid for commercial" distinction. We're not building a SaaS empire — we're shipping a focused tool people can use on real work without paying. If voluntary contributions help keep development going, that's wonderful. The software works the same either way.
Your project data belongs on your computer, not in someone else's cloud. Especially on NDA'd projects, government work, and sensitive infrastructure — which is most of what KeraPlan users do — cloud-first architecture is a liability dressed up as a feature. KeraPlan runs locally. Your files stay with you.
We'd rather ship one product that's excellent than four that are passable. KeraPlan had months of real-world testing before reaching public beta. The other products on our roadmap will get the same treatment — released when they're ready, not to fill a quarter.
We don't use a free tier to harvest your data. We don't bundle adware. We don't push you toward an account you didn't ask for. The features described on the website are the features in the software. The limitations are also stated plainly. What you see is what you install.
